Go Crazy with Creativity
and Trunk Show Saturday, September 19, 2009 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Registration 8:30 Presbyterian Church of the Master 10710 Corby Circle Omaha, NE 68134 Go Crazy with Creativity is Linda MacPhee’s signature
presentation. You will hear bits and snips from her entire range of topics. She will include tips for dazzling embellishment
ideas. You will see first hand examples of her innovative design techniques in her Strip jackets made using bias strips, yarn,
ribbon or foiling on a classic blazer. Linda will talk about her “green sewing” including recycling old clothing,
jeans, fabrics, and plastic bags. Linda will discuss and show examples of slinky knit fashions. Linda’s high-quality
knit fabrics are beautiful and complimentary to every figure. Saturday will also included Linda’s trunk show which will
feature all of her inspiring garments. Linda will present stunning clothing with appliqué, free-motion stitching, embroidery,
foils and crystals. Lunch is included in the registration fee.

Slinky is Sew Slimming! Hands-On Workshop Sunday, September 20, 2009 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Maple Street, Omaha, NE 68134 Make a complete outfit to wear home and look 10 pounds thinner instantly! With Linda’s
guidance and inspiration, you will select a pattern and luxurious slinky fabric to complete an outfit. You may select a top
and skirt or pants, or a dress. Model garments will be available to try on for style and fit. Linda will bring bolts of slinky
fabric to choose from at $15 per yard. (If you want a particular color or pattern of fabric, contact www.macphee workshop.com
to pre-order at $20 a yard.) Most outfits can be completed with three yards of fabric. Patterns will be two for $15 or three
for $20 at the seminar. You will need to bring your sewing ma-chine and basic sewing supplies. Linda will have some notions
such as fusible knit interfacing and threads available, but you are welcome to bring your own. A light lunch will be provided
so you can keep sewing! There are only 30 spots available for the Sunday’s
hands-on workshop, so sign up soon!
